  1. Kolkata Knight Riders Introduction Kolkata Knight Riders is a franchise cricket team that represents the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was founded in 2008 and is owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress JuhiChawla, and her spouse Jay Mehta. Since its inception, the team has won two IPL championships in 2012 and 2014, and has a strong fan following all over the world.
