Soherewearediscussingsomeofthesereallyhelpfultechniques. 1.Speakwithyourself-Itmaysoundweirdbutsomeresearchershavefoundthatpeoplewhotalktothemselvesusingtheirownnameinsteadofusing“I”arebetterperformersinpublicspeaking.Sotrysaying“Youcandoit……….”insteadofsaying“Icandoit”. 2.Don’ttrytorelax-Youmaythinkthattryingtorelaxmaycalmdownyouranxietyofpublicspeakingbutthismaynotbetrueinallthecases.ArecentstudybyaHarvardprofessorsaysthatthisdoesnotalwayswork.Trytoexperienceyouranxietyasexcitement.Thosewhofeelthisasexcitementareoftenmoreproficientwhentheydeliverthespeech. 3.Exerciseinthemorning-Anxietycanbereducedbyexercisinginthemorningonthedayofyourpresentation.Sogooutofyourroom,dosomerunningorexercisingandreduceyourstresslevel. 4.“Icandoit”.Maintainapositiveattitudethatyoucandoit.Yourphobiawouldreducewithinmonthsifyouhavethisattitude.Gradually,yourstresswouldbenoticeablyreducedbeforegivingaspeech.Stayingpositivewouldsurelywork.
