  1. Toyota hybrid electric car, the Vellfire self charging hybrid electric car launched in India is the best hydrid car as it significantly reduces CO2 than any equivalent car in the same class. The Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV has been given some special treatment for a new Golden Eyes edition. It is based on the less luxurious Z variant which is offered in select markets like Japan. The Golden Eyes edition has been launched alongside a similar special edition for its sister MPV, the Alphard Type Gold. The seats are big on comfort, get heating and cooling, and as an added plus, the front passenger seat comes with a powered leg rest. Seat memory, an easy access system (it automatically moves the seat backwards for ease of entry) and a heated steering are things to make the driver’s life easier. There’s also lots of space for small items, including a huge centre box between the seats. But for all its gizmos and practicality, the Vellfire interior still feels like a Toyota interior It is equipped with a 10-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay housed in the centre of the dashboard. It also features auto LED headlamps, heated ORVMs, and 16-colour roof ambient lighting. In terms of safety equipment, the Vellfire gets seven airbags, a panoramic view monitor, vehicle dynamic management, front and rear parking sensors.

  2. The Vellfire is available with a hybrid powertrain that comprises a petrol engine that works in conjunction with a 143hp front axle motor. A 68hp rear axle motor only kicks in when added grip is needed, forming an electric all-wheel drive system in the process.
