Whenever I look back and let my mind alight on the point when\nmy entrepreneurial journey was just dawned, a profound cloud\nof thoughts conjures up in my mind. This cloud is piled up with\nthe mistakes I have made, opportunities I have embraced, and\nthe lessons I have learned from failures, rising up again, and\nfrom success.
We Value Relationship. Forever
MISTAKES TO SABOTAGE
If you are a human, mistakes are inevitable. At times, you might
not get a chance to avoid them, but you will definitely have the
power to not to make them again. What often induces a smile on
my face is the very hint of sentience that always keeps me from
making the same mistake twice.
1. WASTING YOUR TIME TO CHANGE
I have seen people wasting their time and money in changing
other people. I laugh at them. Personality change is a self-
intuitive reaction. It can’t be forced upon. If you think that
your friend is walking on a path that will lead to a barren land
and if you really care about them, then simply do a research
and approach your friend with your thought-suitcase.
Manifest them with data, facts, ideas, strategies, and
everything you have researched to help them realize that
what’s wrong, why should they and how should they change,
and what good this change will bring in their life. This way is
less-nudgy and will appear like more of caring and thoughtful
2. SOWING THE SAME SEED AND EXPECTING
DIFFERENT FRUITS EVERY TIME
If your efforts are not showing any hopeful colors after
continuously being repeated, you probably need to change your
direction. This very concept applies to all segments of a
business. If you are not getting any reverts on your emails? Try
adding a personal touch and changing the format. If visitors are
dumping your website? Try reducing the loading speed and
enhancing the design appeals.
If one of your strategies is continuously falling flat then don’t
stick with it. Remember, old ways won’t open new doors.
3. OVERLOOKING RESEARCH &
JUMPING OVER DOCUMENTATION
An anticipation of outcomes before taking the next step is
crucial. Without a thorough research, it’s almost impossible to
anticipate the ramifications of your action. Big achievers and
leaders stand still until there’s a well-researched report are in
their hand. This principle of research applies everywhere be it
friendship, investments, business decisions, tie-ups, and
Wise people make mistakes, they learn, and they move on. They don’t repeat them. For me, boosting
my digital marketing service to a ‘celebrated’ status wasn’t a cake walk. Sometimes, we would work
night shifts. Sometimes, when there was no one available to take client’s call, I handled that all by
myself and even packed a few good deals in my bag.
In these 3 years, I have realized that no matter how hard you try, how many sacrifices you make, and
what level of strategic planning you pull off, certain shortcomings will be there. While avoiding the
harsh part isn’t an option, learning is the only thing you can embrace.
