The upper floor apartments were derelict except for a conveyor belt to second floor for additional storage.

Plaster lath has to be removed
Tons of plaster and lath were hauled away. The original stairwell skylights were preserved and made part of the interior of the top floor units.
Plaster has to be stripped
Reconfigured walls, plumbing, wiring and modern heating and cooling are installed.
New studs and walls are added
