  • Different and Opposite
  • In Art, Contrast is used between elements of design.
  • Similar (low degree of Contrast)
  • Opposite or “Complementary”
    • (Highest degree of Contrast).
    • Ex: Red and Green, Black and white

  • Identify the COMPEMENTARY colors and the SIMILAR colors.
  • The black dress on the woman
  • The white and blue dresses on the girls.
