draw conclusions
Draw Conclusions
  • To draw conclusions I use what I know about real life and what I have read to figure out more about the characters and what happens in the story.
slide15
Example: When I read Pearl and Wagner: Two Good Friends I wondered why doesn’t Wagner make anything for the Science Fair on his own.

I was able to draw the conclusion that he was so busy thinking of ideas that he never got around to doing anything.

let s try some together
Let’s Try Some Together

Why do you think Pearl told Ms. Star that

Wagner made the robot with her?

(Think-Pair-Share)

Why do you think Wagner got inside the

robot before the judge returned?
