Family Fun Car Rally Background • The Family Fun Car Rally was first flagged off in the year 2001 based on the concept of the time, distance and speed. • - The thought behind the conceptualization of FFCR was to provide a complete package to the audiences & participating brands alike. A platform which provides families with a day out in sun & is a perfect branding and marketing tool for corporate. • -To make this dynamic rally more family oriented the elements of luck, direction sense, general knowledge and special tasks were introduced in 2003 as key factors to decide the rally winners. • -The quantum of the rally became bigger when FFCR expanded its wings in 2006 to the cities of Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Kolkata . • -The strength of the rally can be gauged by the fact that corporate giants such as Toyota, Chevrolet, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Ford and Indian Oil have opted for the Title Sponsorship over the last 9 years. • -The rally has amassed tremendous response over the years with strong advertising and PR activities on all prominent electronic and print media. • - Last year the rally hit a all time high by associating with the XIX commonwealth games while celebrating 30 days to go for commonwealth games.

  5. Family Fun Car Rally Concept What makes the Family Fun Car Rally a unique concept ?

  6. X Event Concept Common for all cities - (Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Delhi & Jaipur) Rally Concept a. The Family Fun Car Rally is a remarkable & delightful rally organized for adventurous & fun loving families. b. The Format is such that it allows a maximum of four people in a vehicle including two adults, driver and a navigator. c. An impromptu brief on rally basics is given to the participants before commencement of the rally. d. The participants along with their cars are flagged off at an interval of 30 to 60 seconds. The route is pre decided and is finalized by a group of experts keeping in view of the participant's safety and sponsors interest e. The rally circuit is spanned over 70 kms. f. Marshal Booths are located all over the route for the participants to pick up their lucky scores and general knowledge questionnaires which are to be filled and submitted/ sealed at the next booth. g. Though our rally is not speed bound but the time frame given to the participants is 3 hours. h. The winners of the rally is decided based on the cumulative score of all the Marshal Booths derived from their lucky scores, general knowledge questions answered and special tasks card.

  7. Event Concept Marshal Booths a. Marshal Booths are kind of check posts located en route. b. Total no. of marshal booths can vary between 5 to 8 nos. c. The participants check in at all the marshal booths and pick up the envelope containing lucky score and questionnaire sheet. Scoring Pattern • a. Score Envelope • - Participants pick a sealed envelope at each Marshal Booths which contains scores from 0-9 • Lucky Score envelopes picked from all the Marshall Booths have to be retained by the participants. These • envelopes have to be submitted at the final scoring counters at the culmination venue. • b. Questionnaire Envelope • - Participants get a questionnaire envelope containing questions based on general knowledge from all Marshal Booth no.1 except the last one. • The questionnaires picked from the Marshals have to be filled before reaching the next Marshall enroute. The • envelope will be sealed and handed over to the participants. The unsealed envelope would not be accepted at the • time of scoring. • Each right answer will fetch2 points and every wrong answer will lead to the penalty of 1 point. Question not • attempted will have a nil score.

  8. Event Concept Common for all cities - (Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Delhi & Jaipur) c. Special Task Card - Participants will get a Special Task Card at the Flag Off venue. - This card contains approx. 5 to10 various tasks which need to be completed en route. - These tasks are basically assigned to make the rally more interesting and challenging. - Each task completed will fetch 10 bonus points. • d Total Scoring • Total Score is the cumulative score of lucky score, score from the questionnaire and the bonus points from • the special task completed. • Participants getting the highest score will be declared the winner. The fabulously decorated cars along with their smartly dressed owners is a site not to be missed. The rally garners huge response from the print & electronic media. The Flag Off ceremony is extensively covered by media and our chief guests along with the sponsor’s senior officials Flag Off the participating car at an interval of 30 to 60 seconds. Not to forget, the sponsor partners ensure their brand visibility for one and all. Itinerary - The online registration of the participants begins 10 days prior to the rally. - All pre confirmed participants register at the venue by 8:00 A.M. - A mandatory briefing session on the rules & regulations of Family Fun Car Rally is given to the final participants from 10:30 A.M. - 11:00 A.M - Participating cars with their allotted car number stickers no. are lined up to be flagged off. - Various enthralling contests will take place after the cars are lined up. -Best Decorated Car -Best Dressed Family - The Chief Guest, an eminent political personality or a famous socialite, flags off the rally after judging the contestants along with the sponsor’s representative. - The 11th Family Fun Car Rally 2011 will be flagged off on the prescribed date by 11:00 A.M. - Refreshments will be provided for at the time of briefing. - A vibrant DJ, Dance Troupes & Crisp comparing will be there to keep the participants in high spirits !

X The Culmination Plan After the grueling rally, searching marshals and picking lucky scores, confusion of filling questionnaires and completing the special tasks, the participants finally reach the venue awaiting the final results. Now its time for them to unwind and relax ! While the rally organising team works on the technicalities of calculation of scores, the participants would be provided with sumptuous lunch and refreshing entertainment. Itinerary - The 11th Family fun Car Rally 2011 will culminate on the prescribed date at about 3:00 P.M. - Our technical team conducts the detailed scoring for the participants. - Our Master of Ceremony will keep the contestants engaged in various interesting and entertaining games and till the time the results are announced. - Media from both print and electronic will be present to cover FFCR 2011. - Various product displays of our partners at the venue. - Entertainment will keep the mood and tempo of the participants high while they are awaiting the rally results. - Entertainment will be followed by Lunch for the participants. - The results for various categories would be announced and our chief guest along with our sponsor's senior officials will distribute the prizes. - The Culmination Ceremony can be used as a perfect platform for product launches, celebrating your company's family days or as an outdoor activity for your employees.
