  1. Horizontal extractor for the hydrocarbon extraction process What is the method of Hydrocarbon Extraction? Hydrocarbon extraction is the most popular extraction method used to strip the compounds, such as terpenes from the plant material. The process involves the use of hydrocarbons such as propane or butane as the solvent to extract the concentrate. There is one method called Hydrocarbon extraction which cleans deeply and leaves no hydrocarbon residue when properly utilized. At the end of the hydrocarbon extraction process, the resulting extract is clean and contains very high levels of compounds and terpenes.

  2. Maximum yield to explain Hydrocarbon Extraction The hydrocarbon extraction process involves the mixing of plant material into a glass test tube. The material is packed tightly into the tube to remove all air pockets. A screen is attached to the bottom of the tube to prevent the plant material from falling from the tube. The tube is then placed in a glass container. The hydrocarbon such as butane is placed into the hole at the other end of the test tube. Butane is then ignited and allowed to flow into the test tube heating up the material. Usually, within a minute or two of heating the material with the butane, the material starts to release its oils. The highly concentrated oil drips out of the test tube and into the glass container. The container holding the oil is then placed into a second container that holds hot water. The hot water encourages the butane to quickly evaporate from the oil. The oil is then boiled again to extract the hydrocarbons from the oil. The final method to purge and leaves the oil cleans from the hydrocarbons. What is the purpose of the hydrocarbon? The hydrocarbons are mainly known as used organic compounds and are literally the driving force of western civilization. A large number of hydrocarbons are used as fuel for combustion, using in heating and motor for fuel applications. The methane and ethane are the primary components of natural gas. Uses of Hydrocarbon Gas Liquids Hydrocarbon gas liquids can be used in a different way, like as fuel, Propane is used as a fuel and is used to make chemicals, and Ethane is mainly used to produce ethylene, a feedstock to make plastics.
