  1. Hydrocarbon Extraction Made Simple with Advanced Extractors The demand for quality extracted plant products in gaining momentum. Edibles companies are earning quick profits by selling a large quantity of plant based products. Plant extracts are also used to produce other products such as transdermal patches, topical, capsules and other concentrates. At the core of production remains the cannabis extraction process which helps companies earn profits. Of course plant extraction remains a complex process that requires extreme attention and precise skills to complete the process efficiently with utmost safety. However, the process is simplified with the use of hydrocarbon extractor. Plant essential oil is used for the extraction of several products such as – oral tablets, tinctures, transdermal patches, oils, and much more. These formulations can be achieved through supercritical carbon dioxide extraction process. However, the hydrocarbon extraction is also possible with butane through various laboratory requirements. Butane is a widely used hydrocarbon in plant extraction industry. Since they have a low-boiling point of about 31.1°F (-0.5°C), it is preferred for cold-boiling the residual solvent obtained from the concentrate solution. The process yields temperature- sensitive terpenes. Why butane is used for the extraction process? Simply because, butane a hydrocarbon, is the most efficient solvent for plant extraction. But the major shortcoming of using butane is the fear of explosion because butane is highly flammable.

  2. A hydrocarbon extractor reduces the risks associated with using butane in the extraction process. A few automated extraction machines provide products with improved quality, in a short time frame with lesser risk. In order to make the best use of the machine, it is recommended to consider a few factors such as: The extractor should be approved for use at the processing location The extraction system should be able to handle the desired output requirements The machine should be able to control the temperature It must be in compliance with the desired safety regulations Source URL: https://bit.ly/30TEcKs
