  1. TOSHIBA’S MOUSE IS MOVING ERRATICALLY ON TOUCHPAD

  2. HELLO! I am Jade Niven I live in Brisbane. Currently working in a Toshiba Support as a customer care executive. If you have any issue call Us at 1-800-958-239.

  3. “Toshiba is a Japanese brand and Toshiba laptop is one of its product which is meant for home as well as office use. The design is just awesome and it is portable too. If you are getting trouble with its mouse and it is moving erratically on the touchpad, then don’t worry. Just follow the below instructions to troubleshoot this issue.”

  4. Toshiba Support Australia • This problem occurs due to heavy load on the system. When a heavy application is opened on the system, the mouse could seem erratic sometimes. Wait till all the programs are fully loaded and try it afterward again. • Once in a while, the Touchpad requires to recalibrate itself to make sure of an appropriate operation. During this procedure, the mouse cursor is strolling over the desktop screen for a few seconds.  • Make sure not to move the cursor during the recalibration process, it’ll cause to intercede the procedure and the touchpad will try to change itself until the calibration is done.

  5. If the mouse cursor doesn’t stop wandering over the desktop screen after a short time, try to disable the touchpad with Fn-F9. If the cursor doesn’t stop moving, then it may be a hardware failure existing. • If the cursor gets pinned on the desktop or would not move anymore after a while of working, then disable the touchpad with Fn + F9. After waiting for a minute, re-enable it and check if the problem persists again. • Now, remove the connection of any external devices and reboot the machine. Also, check if the problem persists. If not, then one of the external peripherals might be causing the problem. Check each peripheral, identify which of them is faulty and replace it. • Try to connect an external mouse with your Toshiba laptop and check if the problem persists.
