  1. GBA1 Mutations and Associated Diseases • GBA1 mutations, causing lysosomal disorder Gaucher disease, are the main factor for genetic Parkinson disease and Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB). According to the study, many GBA1 mutations increase the risk of many diseases. The main example of GBA1 associated disease is Parkinson disease, a neurological movement disorder.
