  1. Why India Should Conserve Water, and How? India, with a population of over a billion in the world´s largest democracy, Historically, civilization in India as around the world, have largely evolved and developed around water bodies as most human activities, including agriculture and industry depend on water. However, water situation in India seems to be going from bad to worse. Not only there is a growing scarcity of water in the country, the agriculturally important states like Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan are facing a steady fall in their ground water levels. Rapid depletion of the groundwater level is a cause of great concern for India and its agriculture depends overwhelmingly on this source of water. Saving water is the only way to survive. Here are 3 important ways to save water. 1.Rainwater harvesting: This is an engineering used for collecting and saving rainwater from the rock catchments, the land surface or from rooftops utilizing uncluttered techniques such as pots and jars as well as more complicated techniques such as subterranean check dams. The methods mostly seen in Asia and Africa emerge from the methods employed by ancient civilizations within these areas and yet function as a reliable source of drinking water supply in provincial areas. General systems used to construct a rainwater harvesting system include the conveyance system, the collection device and the catchment area. 2.Water Saving Devices: One of the practical methods to cut back your carbon foot mark and economize money around your home is by scaling down the amount of water you use. A homeowner can use different types of water saving devices to keep tabs on water utilization. In India, companies such as Neo Systek introduced some futuristic products such as Eco365 aerators, tap aerators, shower aerators, Green toilet bank, water flow faucets to pay you off in the long run by saving water in your home. These water savers are highly efficient and are a great way to save water around your home. They are very easy to fix and cost almost nothing, which turns them one of the most wanted green products to invest your money into. 3.Waste water recycling: We use water for numerous activities such as cooking, cleaning and more. After the process the water becomes residual or sewage and need to be treated before it can be reused. The four stages are included in this process. They are: 1.Preliminary treatment, that is, water accumulated from different stages are filtered and separated. 2.Primary treatment: The process in which the solid particles are removed 3.Secondary treatment: wastewater biological treatment

  2. 4.Final Discharge of the water-the water is returned to nature in environmentally safe conditions. Know more details about water saving products in India to conserve water and save for future.
