  2. In India, there are many regions where soil fertility is generally poor. This is due to the lack of micronutrients and macronutrients. The continuous cultivation for a very long time without addition of micro/macro nutrient fertilizers makes the soil fertility very poor. This causes nutrient deficiency in soil. This deficiency can be removed by adding water soluble fertilizers in soil, which allows reducing nutrient deficiency. Micronutrients are the ones required in very small amounts by the plants whereas macronutrients are the nutrition required by the plants in a huge amount.
