  1. Indian Spitz History Available in two sizes Available in two different sizes, the Indian Spitz dog looks like a Pomeranian and is commonly known as the Indian Pomeranian. However, both are distinct breeds. It is interesting to note that the Indian government had banned foreign breeds of dogs in India in the 1990s and 1980s. Indian Spitz became a hot cake with dog breeders and dog owners in the aftermath. Aside from it being true that Indian Spitz is a popular breed in India however, there are no well-known international kennel clubs that acknowledge this breed. This energetic and intelligent dog is among the top 15 breeds in India while other breeds are from abroad. There are two versions available that are bigger than Greater Indian Spitz and Smaller or Lesser Indian Spitz. Both share similar characteristics, and there's not much difference between the two variants, except for size. If you're in search of an animal that is always looking to take on the world, and on the other hand, they are the most loved family pets then the Indian Spitz is the best choice for you. It is also one of the most affordable Indian dog breeds you can get for just $55 in India. History Most Indian breeds of dogs are native in the Indian region, however they are not as common in The Indian Spitz. This dog breed is believed to descend from the German Spitz dogs they were brought into India through the British in the 19th century. They were later mixed into the Indian Pariah dogs by the British in 19th century. After many generations, breeders created the dog that is able to withstand the scorching heat of India. In 1994, an Indian Spitz puppy appeared on one of Indian blockbuster films in the film industry that brought more attention to the white snow-colored dog all over India. The main actress in the film later adopted that Indian Spitz.
