Billy Jensen - Famous Investigative Journalist

Billy Jensen earned his first cover story in the spring of 1997. During this time, he decided to pursue a career in professional roller hockey. In 1998, he moved on from roller hockey and began a position as a listings assistant. He would move on to listings editor while reporting for the New York Times during his weekends. Since then, his career as a crime story writer and investigative journalist has skyrocketed and he is renowned for solving crimes.

  2. Received A Master’s Degree Billy Jensen is an investigative journalist and published author whose career transformed when he decided to do more than write about crimes; he was determined to solve them. He attended the University of Kansas where he received a master’s degree.

  3. Served as Executive Producer Billy Jensen is an investigative reporter who served as executive producer and co- host for Unraveled, a multi- part series on Discovery+. Additionally, he collaborates on The First Degree podcast with Jac Vanek and Alexis Linkletter.

  4. Studying Christian Apocalyptic Groups Billy Jensen has been writing about and solving crimes for years. In 1996, his career trajectory pointed toward religious studies, focusing on new religious movements known in the media as cults. He was intent on studying Christian Apocalyptic groups.
