•The NOUN is a word that names something. •They are names for persons, animals, places, objects, substances, qualities, actions, measures of time or quantity which can be pointed out, recognized and called a name. • It is the word that tells, what you are talking about.

COMMON AND PROPER NOUNS
• A is the general name given to all persons, places, animals, or things that belong to the same group or class. • It is the ordinary name you call someone or something (a person, place, animal, or thing) that belong in the same group. • I guess that is why they call it COMMON NOUNS. ☺

The clumsy boy spilled juice on his books. We DO NOT capitalize Common Nouns, unless they are used to begin sentences. 3. Rayanne’s birthday will be celebrated on the fifth of August. 4.
