  2. HALAL Certification • The halal industry, in particular halal food and halal cosmetics and cosmeceuticals, is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. It is rightly believed that the setting of unified global standards would accelerate this growth. International trade barriers would be significantly lowered when all halal products follow one set of standards, resulting in the uniformity of compliance requirements and certification procedures.HALAL: This is an Arabic term which means permissible or lawful in Islam. In reference to food, it is the Islamic dietary standard, as prescribed in the Shari’ah (Islamic Law). • The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Halal is clear and the Haram (unlawful) is clear. Between the two there are doubtful matters concerning which people do not know. One who avoids them in order to safeguard his deen (religion) and his honor are safe, while if someone indulges in it, he may be indulging in the unlawful……” (Bukhari)

  3. ISO 9001:2015 • The new standard published in the month of September, 2015. ISO 9001:2015 is based on new High Level Structure (HLS) that brings a common framework to all management system standards. This helps to keep consistency, alignment different management system standards, offer matching sub-clauses against the top-level structure and apply common language across all standards • The key changes in the standard are: •  The emphasis on leadership •  The focus on risk management •  Emphasis on objectives measurement and change •  Communication and awareness •  Fewer prescriptive requirements

  4. ISO 14001:2015 • Corporate Social Responsibilities awareness is increasing amongst all stakeholders and EMS is core part of the CSR. Implementing an Environmental Management System gives companies a competitive edge. • Save the Environment. This is the main theme of the ISO 14001:2015 standard. To save the environment is the prima facie objectives of the corporate and industry. This is applicable to all type of the Industry which are polluting to the environment by their activities. • This standard sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. It sets out a framework that an organization has to follow to implement the effective Environmental Management System
