What makes the Boat Building Unique? • Discretionary Income- economically sensitive industry • first industry to go into a recession and the last to come out • Strong U.S. manufacturing sector / major exporter of finished product • Low volume / labor intensive industry • Most boat builders are small business / privately owned

  11. NMMA Goal • Work together with ARB and EPA so that a nationally applicable harmonized program to reduce evaporative emissions from boat fuel systems is established
