Halo manufacturing desired an automated solution to manual camera calibration which was long, complex and prone to errors. This calibration includes adjustments for Pan, Tilt, and Role (PTR). Automated PTR verification is also requested to reduce nightly concierge workload.
A solution was designed and implemented to automatically identify room artifacts and estimate the critical parameters. MatLab code is compiled into the Halo Device Manager SW to automate the solution.
