  2. Big Themes • We can describe data with numbers • We do EDA • We do some sort of procedure to either make an estimate or determine if there was an effect • These are two sides of the same coin

  3. And Finally • The whole thing relates to the CLT • In fact, all of the procedures we have learned have to do with, at a deep level, the z distribution

  4. HELP! • Always start by listing what you know • If you are not sure of what formula to use, find the one that contains all of the info you have and of course, one that will answer the question

  5. The Final Exam • 10 Definitions = 10 points • 3 short answer questions = 20 points • 2 problems = 30 points (One of these will be a chi squared or ANOVA question) • Total = 60 points • 2 hours
