  11. Unpacking Essential Concepts and Skills: Multi-pass approach • Pass #1 • 1. Form groups of four to six. Suggestions for grouping includes teachers in grade bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12), grade level, content alike, or mixed content groups. • Reflection Questions • ICC Leadership Teams/ team data collectors will collect this information. • As you examine the Essential Concepts and Skills: • READ through concepts and skills sets AND understand what they actually mean. • List three or four Essential Concepts and Skills that you are currently addressing. • Are there any Essential Concepts and Skills which you are not currently addressing? If so, list an example or two. • 2. What future conversations regarding the Essential Concepts and Skills will need to occur among teachers in the district? (For example, within grade level, across grade levels, and cross curricular). • 3. What specific questions do you have?
