  2. Wind energy • Solar energy is everything, and wind is an indirect form of it. Wind is caused the differential heating of the Earth by the sun, which causes global heat dissipation in the form of wind. • Wind flows when “harvesting” the wind turbines are used for produce electricity.

  3. Solar energy • Solar energy is the sun’s ray’s that reach the Earth. This energy can be converted into other form of energy, such as heat and electricity. • There two forms of main solar energy – passive solar energy and active solar energy. Passive solar energy is a solar power in its most archaic and practical form. Basically, the suns energy is being used for lighting or heating purposes. • Active solar energy uses photovoltaic technology. The main purpose of photovoltaic is to harness the energy from the sun and then use special semiconductors to convert it to usable direct current energy.

  4. Biotic and Abiotic • The term biotic refers to anything relating to living organisms. Biotic is often used to refer to life, biology, and biotic materiel. • Abiotic is referring to nonliving physical and chemical factors.

  5. Tides • Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of the rotation of the Earth and the gravitational forces by exerted by the Moon and Sun. • The tides occur with a period of approximately 12 and a half hours and are influenced.

  6. Energy Transformation Energy transformation is the process in which energy changes from one from to another.

  7. Heat Convection in Atmosphere The solar energy received by the Earth causes ocean currents, winds, seasons, and climate differences.

  8. Components of Universe • The inner planets, also known as the terrestrial planets, are small, dense, and made of rock. Their orbits are close to the sun. • The outer planets, known as the gas giants are extremely large, cold, and made of gas. Their orbits are farther out and spaced widely apart.
