It is most commonly used for photo editing or image manipulation as we did in class. Data Analysis and Visualization with Excel Excel is most commonly known for charting financial information, such as an annual budget. We created personal annual budgets which allows us to keep track of how much we spend annually and how much extra spending money we have after paying the necessary monthly expenses. OverviewInformation technology defines basic hardware and software terms and gives us examples of ‘intangible’ terms. It also allows us to develop the ability to think more analytically. Basic programming with Scratch, data analysis, and computational thinking are only parts of what we gain proficiency in. It is essentially thinking about data and ideas and using and combining these resources to solve problems through manipulating data, using abstractions, and learning computer science concepts.
