The various software available today allows regular people, like me, to create and share infinite amounts of information! Visual Programming with Scratch Data Analysis and Visualization with Excel • Scratch is a computer application that allows you to explore and experiment with the concepts of computer programming by using simple graphical interface. Scratch is used worldwide in many different settings: schools, museums, community centers, and homes. (-Wikipedia) Data Analysis can be very tedious, but with programs like Excel, life is much easier in Analyzing and Visualizing large amounts of data. Fluency With Information Technology Making information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Presentation of Information with Word and Power Point Image Manipulation with Photoshop Using Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Power Point provides a great medium with which to show off work. Power Point is often used in class and in presentations. They are both easy to use and make information easy and clear to read! Using HTML, you can create code to display amazing web pages available for everyone to see. We made calendars such as this one in our CSE 3 class. Using Photoshop, you can manipulate pictures to make them look the way you want. You can remove defects in the pictures or put them through various filters that change the way your image looks.
