Source Selection Improvement Group (SSIG) Update • PEO STRI Government/Industry SSIG Objectives • Improve source selection process • Improve the quality of solicitations • Improve the quality of submitted proposals • SSIG “Pilot” Focus Group (Met twice in the last few weeks) • 8 Industry partners: 3 large and 5 small • Source Selection Advisory Team (SSAT) & National Center for Simulation (NCS) • Developed a Problem Statement • “The Procurement Acquisition Lead Time process which designates the time from requirements definition to award has been unpredictable and lacks accountability as perceived by Industry” • SSIG Forum (All Industry Partners); How can you help? • Provide recommendations to the solution to this problem statement (posted to the • PEO STRI Business Opportunities website called the “SSIG”) • Provide responses to “usarmy.orlando.peo-stri.mbx.ssig@mail.mil” • Continuous Industry Participation Questionnaire Form on the SSIG Tab • State the Topic • Full description of the problem • Goals that you wish to achieve • Results of these focus groups could be in the form of recommendations to Industry and/or to PARC for HCA • The SSAT & Industry Partners will provide periodic updates at PALT sessions as needed
