  3. Equipment: • greased baking tray • large white bowl • whitemixing spoon • teaspoon Ingredients: • 100g self-raising flour • 25g margarine • 25g sugar • ½ level teaspoon baking powder • 25g dried fruit • 3 tablespoons milk

Method • Preheat oven 220°c/ Gas 7. • Grease a baking tray. • In a large bowl – rub together 100g flour, 25g sugar and 25g margarine • Add baking powder and dried fruit - mix •  - see me – to add 3 tablespoons of milk – stir to form a stiff dough. • Knead gently to bring together and pat out to 2-3cms thick – cut out scone shapes • Place onto baking tray, brush with milk and bake for 15mins until golden brown.
