Build Groups • Fuselage: (Ki-Bom Kim Tung Tran) Construct main support and bulkheads Main wing attachment Main landing gear and attach points • Wing: (Andrew Martin Matt Lossmann) Main wing construction Flaperon construction Pitot tube routing Dihedral angle consideration • Tail Section: (Haris Md Ishak Ravi Patel) Horizontal and Vertical Fin construction Elevator and Rudder construction Tail wheel attachment • Propulsion and Component: (Matt Drodofsky Mark Koch) Assemble powerplant Develop wiring diagrams Determine control linkage layout Flightline

Economic Plan • Company Overhead Purdue University is providing Build team with facilities, machine shop, and electrical power for testing. • Person-Hours for R&D Total Hours for Project: 1750 Hours Current Hours: 1009 Hours Groups having PDR presentations were opened for OT hours • Budget Cost (Allotment $250.00) Propulsion: $168.94 Landing Gear: $24.27 Control Linkage: $23.79 Fuselage: $33.00

  5. Flight Test Plan • Static Test (Purdue Airport Facility) power up the aircraft receiver and transmitter. Actuate all control surfaces to full deflection look for correct deflection movement, binding, and surface strikes • High Speed Taxi (McAllister Park) power up engine and run down runway to insure tail wheel controllability • Flight Test (McAllister Park) First flight: (Yaw feedback control off) Brief liftoff and land to feel initial handing qualities of aircraft. Second flight: Sustaining flight with turns to evaluate aircraft stability and control. Third flight: Go through procedures to set rate gyro gain. FULL THROTTLE FLIGHT!
