  1. Evaluation of the prototype DMA ‘What about your personality’ Robin Suykerman en Rein Vrielink May 2003

  2. Test on scholars from the VMBO of the Stedelijk Daltoncollege at Zutphen (Netherlands) Who like to do the test?

  3. Test on scholars • The 5 test pages are translated into Dutch. One A4 for each page. • The two VMBO assistances, Monique Tuqan and Corrine van den Broek were instructed. • They did the test on six scholars age 13, from the first class of the VMBO. • (children): Melani; Cigdem

  4. Lakshika • Chantal

  5. Remarks from scholars: • After the explanation the test was clear. • Everything about Asterix and less about Obelix • The Dutch translation is handsome • For girls it would be nicer to choose out of female characters • Site is in English • Some scholars saw the film

  6. Remarks • The scholars had fun while they talk about it. "I'm not shy. Yes you are when you are with Patrick" • The scholars like it because it is about themselves. • The scholars knew each other for 10 months now. So the goal that they form quicker a group could not be tested.

  7. Feed back from adultsWe have got feed back on our prototype DMA from:Andrew Middleton, Gillian Waters, Alison Purvis, Esther van Aalst, Christine Jones, Mohammad Maasoumi, Monique Tuqan and Christa Broeren.

  8. Suggestions • Make a Dutch version • The text is visually too long. The lettertype can be bigger. Change the lettertype in Arial • Use cartoons in the Roman text • Start with the test • Use Flash to make it more attractive • Remove the word hopefully • Change the word peer in classmate
