Main reasons for Texmac 2007 Current Economic parameters: • Abolition of import quotas in US / EU opens tremendous export chances for Indian textile industry Dynamic increase of textile exports is expected • Reduction of import customs duties for textile machinery to 10% (down from 20 %) Rapid enlargement and modernisation of textile production facilities • Indian government provides investment assistance for the procurement of new machinery until 31 March 2007 High standard textile machinery can be purchased to meet global quality standards High investments in national and international textile machinery
