  12. General safety rules • Use the right tool for the job • Use the tool properly • Maintain the tool properly • Carry the tool properly • Clear the area of unnecessary personnel when using sharp, pointed, or power tools

  13. General safety rules F. Clear the area of as many obstructions as possible G. Always wear complete protective clothing

  14. Accountability of tools • All tools should be accounted for and in the proper locations • Report any problems or missing tools as soon as possible • Inventory on a regular basis • Fix or replace tools as soon as possible

  15. Conclusion: Tools are of no use if left on the apparatus. Bring a tool with you. You’ll never know when you may need it.
