Pathways for Transformation Key Ideas • Provide pathways for students to become productive global citizens and to have a meaningful and successful life and career • “Climb two ladders” -- establish a strong foundation across all programs while also building on existing strengths in some programs • Build a dynamic and inclusive learning and working environment • Recognize timeas a valuable resource

Accomplishments in 2014-2015 • Completed national searches for: (22) new term + (8) new tenure-track faculty448 total full-time faculty in Fall 2015(39% Tenured, 15% tenure-eligible, 38% Term, 8% A&P) • Acquired new space in Founders Hall andFranklin St. Gym • 26% growth in research funding ($22M in FY15)130% growth in fund-raising ($2.7M in FY15) • Numerous faculty and student awards

  48. Coming up in 2015-2016 • Planning for new buildings at Franklin St. Gym site • New budget model and/or reallocation to eventually help with resourcingin H&S (Note: 0.5% E&G cut in FY16 due to state cut) • Gearing up for VCU capital campaignto launch Fall 2016 • Meetings with faculty and staff to learn about and improve the workplace environment
