  2. Increases Success In School Studies have shown that students perform better academically when they have greater Social Emotional Development skills. Students are better able to concentrate on their studies and feel confidence in their skills when they are treated with respect and hearing in the classroom. Youths' attitudes toward school are also improved through SEL, which increases their attendance and inspires them to learn.

  3. Enhances Confidence And SelfAwareness Through SEL, kids are encouraged to make a developmental transition from looking to outside sources for guidance on how to behave to trusting in themselves and their own values. Children can increase their self-esteem and self- belief through this approach. By helping young people understand how their choices and actions affect both themselves and other people, SEL also helps young people become more self-aware.

  4. Builds Empathy For Other People Empathy, or the capacity to comprehend another person's thoughts and feelings, is seen as a fundamental social skill. However, it is frequently ignored in conventional school curricula. Children who get social-emotional education are encouraged to take into account the opinions and feelings of their parents, instructors, and peers. The development of other crucial abilities such as conflict resolution, positive communication, and goodwill toward others can start with the practise of empathy.
