The effect of God’s cleansing on Isaiah – v. 8. • “We are only prepared to receive and comprehend the grace of God when we have understood his infinite holiness and our incredible sinfulness.”

  9. D. Since God is sovereign and in complete control of everything how can He hold us accountable for our actions? 1. Because both are taught by God in His Word. - Sovereignty does not remove our need for obedience. 2. “Willing obedience reveals a heart that is embracing sovereignty.”

  10. 3. “The higher the view we have of His sovereignty—that our times are in His hands—the greater will be the possibility to live in His victory.” 4. Our personal goal should be summed up in this statement: “I want to love God so much that I trust His every decision no matter how hard that may be.”
