WHAT IS ARIEL? THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH?

9Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion. And as a lion, who shall rouse him?

10The scepter shall not depart from Judah Nor a lawgiver from between his feet Until Shiloh comes. And to Him shall be the obedience of the people. NKJV

WHAT IS ARIEL? JERUSALEM? CITY OF DAVID?

6The king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who spoke to David, saying, You shall not come in here. The blind and the lame will repel you, Thinking, David cannot come in here.

7Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).NKJV

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO JERUSALEM?

READ:LAMENTATIONS 2:1-5

1The Lord has covered the daughter of Zion With a cloud in His anger! He cast down from heaven to the earth The beauty of Israel, And did not remember His footstool In the day of His anger.

2The Lord has swallowed up and has not pitied All the dwelling places of Jacob. He has thrown down in His wrath The strongholds of the daughter of Judah. He has brought them down to the ground. He has profaned the kingdom and its princes.

3He has cut off in fierce anger Every horn of Israel. He has drawn back His right hand From before the enemy. He has blazed against Jacob like a flaming fire Devouring all around.

4Standing like an enemy, He has bent His bow. With His right hand, like an adversary, He has slain all who were pleasing to His eye. On the tent of the daughter of Zion, He has poured out His fury like fire.

5The Lord was like an enemy. He has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces. He has destroyed her strongholds And has increased mourning and lamentation In the daughter of Judah. NKJV

2I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. The city shall be taken, The houses rifled,

1In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it. They built a siege wall against it all around.

2The city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.

3By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. NKJV

1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. He wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.

HOW DID DANIEL DESCRIBE THIS DREAM?

7I saw in the night visions. Behold, A fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth. It was devouring, breaking in pieces and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it. It had ten horns.

13I was watching in the night visions, Behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven!

He came to the Ancient of Days And They brought Him near before Him.

14Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom That all peoples, nations and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away. And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

15I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

16I came near to one of those who stood by and asked him the truth of all this. He told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: NKJV

15There was found in it a poor wise man and he by his wisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that same poor man. NKJV

WHY IS THE TRIUMPH OF THE WICKED SHORT?

5The triumphing of the wicked is short. And the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment?

6Though his haughtiness mounts up to the heavens And his head reaches to the clouds,

7Yet He will perish forever like his own refuse.

Those who have seen him will say, Where is he?

8He will fly away like a dream and not be found.

Yes, he will be chased away like a vision of the night.

9The eye that saw him will see him no more Nor will his place behold him anymore. NKJV
