  4. STEP TWO:Set up you AGENDA • Agenda : Renewable Energy • Introduction: Compose your issue statement. Should federal subsidies be eliminated renewable energy • What is going on regarding the issue of renewable energy: United State and other country • Who is involved with renewable energy • What are the risk involved with renewable energy? • Conclusion: Issue Statement

  5. Issue Classification involves” • Create the follow three slides ( see the next three slides) • STEP THREE: Facts-Factual information • STEP FOUR: Evaluation-Evuatlive information • STEP FIVE: Interpertive- Interpertive informaion

  6. Facts-Factual information • Locate two Pro and two Con: • Pro: Gas releases fewer harmful emissions when burned than other. Nuclear power or natural gas-the traditional fuels used to generate electricity in United State. • Con: today, oil and gas prices have fallen. Renewable energy sources are taking place of fossil fuels anytime soon • My suggestions are to: Look at your critique for two cogent and two not cogent premises Cogent and not cogent are synonymous with pro and con

  7. Evaluation-Evualuative information • Pro: 1.The natural gas industry sees the value of clean, domestic energy and recognizes that natural gas is a central component of that. 2. Renewables are virtually inexhaustible. • Con: Proven world reserves of natural gas are estimated to last for the next 65 year. United State which now import about half its oil, has abundant reserves of coal and access to abundant supplies of gas from Canada

  8. Interpertive-Interpertive informaion • Look at your second level of reading comprehension and find two interpertive sections from your article • Biomass is a form of solar energy stored in organic matter • Solar: sun’s energy is captured using two different technologies

Create A Graphic which includes: Renewable energy sources are taking place of fossil fuels anytime soon Government should subsidize renewable energy industry Should federal subsidies be eliminated today, oil and gas prices have fallen. Renewable energy sources friendly to the environment Energy Crisis Hits Gas releases fewer harmful emissions when burned than other fossil fuels
