  2. The Executive Board suggests and proposes the following changes to the Constitution which have been approved by the Constitution Committee

  3. DEFINITIONS AND MEMBERSHIP CHAPTER Requirements for the Constitution of the National Federation (article 8) To establish a deadline for payment of fees for the Member, and a period of suspension in case of default (article 11)

  4. SUGGESTED ARTICLES RELATIVE TO CONGRESS All Members may attend Congress but only Members in good standing have the right to vote Introduction of Attendees at Congress (article 21) New powers for the Congress (article 23) for example : remove Board Members, the President, Vice-President, Committee Members and World Triathlon Tribunal “Roberts Rules of Order” will be replaced by ITU’s own “Rules for Congress”

EXTRAORDINARY CONGRESS (ARTICLE 26) Congress can be convened in writing within 60 days, • either by the Executive Board or • by a fifth of the members for an extraordinary Congress; The request must contain two requirements: • the specific purpose for which the Extraordinary Congress is called and • the specific resolution on which the Delegates are requested to vote

  7. COMPOSITION OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD (ARTICLE 34) The creation of the Financial and Marketing Vice-President Additional Athlete’s Representative from the opposite gender 3 of the 4 Vice-Presidents must be from a different Continental Confederation Table officers: deleted

  8. POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD AND EB-MEMBERS (ARTICLE 34 - 39) Improve definitions of the roles and responsabilities of the Executive Board and its members

  9. CONTINENTAL CONFEDERATION (ARTICLE 40) AND ASSOCIATED MEMBER (ARTICLE 41) New requirements for Continental Confederations Clarification of their rights and obligations Introduction of Associate Membership

  10. COMMITTEES (ARTICLE 46 AND 47) Clarification of: General rules of Committees Role, mission and composition of each Committee Gender quota improved: Ex 2/7 in 2020 and 3/7 in 2024

  11. COMMISSIONS (ARTICLE 48 AND 49) Standing Commissions and Ad Hoc Commissions General rules New: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Standing Commission: • to implement inclusion programs within World Triathlon and supports diversity-related efforts by other Committees, • to communicate these diversity and initiatives, both internally and externally

  12. WORLD TRIATHLON TRIBUNAL (ARTICLE 50) Change the term of Arbitration Tribunal to World Triathlon Tribunal. Creation of an Ethical Panel, in accordance with the Ethical Code and recently implemented Safeguarding Policy

  13. CAS ANTI-DOPING DIVISION Any cases of doping shall be submitted to the Court of Arbitration of Sport Anti-Doping Division (article 51) ELIGIBILITY OF OFFICIALS Redefinition of Eligibility for Officials (article 53)
