CFU Students, you probably told your partner that both of these passages are about dogs. When we discuss what something is about, we are discussing its topic. When we read passages on the same topic there can be facts that are similar and facts that are different. Finding facts that are the same (Dogs love to go on walks) is called comparing. Finding facts that are different (Dogs are loyal) is called contrasting.
