What is monitoring?

Routine collection and recording of information

about a project, programme or organisation’s

delivery

  • Tracks daily activities and operations

  • Checks progress on an ongoing / regular basis


Differences between Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Monitoring and evaluation should inform one another
