  29. UNACCEPTABLE • Fighting • DISRESPECT • Cutting classes • Profanity , sexual harassment, cheating stealing, defacing or destroying school property in any way , graffiti • Vandalism of any kind • Eating , drinking, chewing gum in classroom and hallways

  30. UNACCEPTABLE Littering the room and campus Any electronic/ technology and any item determined to be a nuisance item, distracting teaching and learning Weapons of any kind, real or toy replicas Drugs, alcohol, tobacco or drug paraphernalia

  31. Classroom Rules Explain and demonstrate each rule. • Respect everyone inside and outside the classroom. 2. 100% attention is expected during directed teaching.

  32. Ask permission at all times. 4. Full cooperation is a must in doing group activities.

  33. Be punctual in everything. 6. Cleanliness, neatness and orderliness should be observed in doing science work.

  34. Safety rules should be strictly followed. • Ask questions and respond politely.

  38. 14. Signed completed work should be given to the Substitute Teacher during my absence. The substitute teacher’s signature on your assignment means excellent behavior – (100 points) No signature = no credit 15.Reflection will be done before leaving the class.

  39. 15 Minute Rule • NO Restroom Breaks during the 1ST and the last 15 minutes of the class . ( one person at a time ) • 2 minutes only • Students are never to be out of the class without a pass.

  45. 5 STEP ROUTINE • Go to your SEAT QUIETLY and QUICKLY. • Get your NOTEBOOK – Copy the following : FLTS Objectives- (NEW) Agenda (NEW) Copy HW – notebook / planner/ agenda Take Notes • Classwork / Experiment /Project- Notebook • Quiz / Test – separate sheet • Reflection - Notebook

  46. Procedures • HW ASSIGNMENTS –submit – pass the white tray from Group 1-10; • HANDOUTS- Given to Group 3. MATERIALS- A- MATERIALS/TIME /REMINDERS B- CLEANLINESS/ ORGANIZATION C- ON TASK / BEHAVIOR D- SAFETY 4. CLASSWORK – raise hand if done for evaluation and score

  47. Procedures 4. MAKE UP Assignments- LATEST SUBMISSION 1 WEEK - SIGNED BY TEACHER OR PARENTS They should be made up after school signed by teacher/ parents 5. RESTROOM – NO RESTROOM on the 1ST AND last 15 minutes of the class. One person at a time. USE HALLWAY PASS. 6. HALLWAY PASS- Use the hallway pass to go to the bathroom and important business.

  48. 7. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER GRADE- all assignments required during my absence, should be completed and submitted to the SUBSTITUTE Teacher. The assignment will only be signed by the Substitute Teacher if you have an EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR the whole entire period. • EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR Signature of APPROVAL on the Assignment = Clean Area+ Remain Seated/seat assignment + Quietly completing the task +Respectful + Obedient = 100 pts

  50. 9. DISMISSAL – By groups Clean Up required before leaving the class. Group Random Notebook check will be done before leaving. ( Standards, Objectives, Agenda, Notes, Classwork, REFLECTION ) 10. CLEAN UP – Return all borrowed materials into the orange football bin. Organize your seat. Pick up bits of paper /trash from the floor and throw them in the trash can.
