Medicare Coordination • Current Rules – A&M plan primary for working any portion of month • New Rules – starting 9/1/2013 • A&M plan primary only if the position the working retiree holds would otherwise be considered benefits eligible • Will help resolve Medicare coordination issues • Requires Medicare enrollment when Medicare primary • Eligibility for 65+ plan only if Medicare primary
