  2. Student Behaviors • Be prompt • Be prepared • Be a polite and positive participant • Be productive • Be a problem solver

  3. Show Respect • Treat all people with respect. • Honor the ideas and opinions of others. • Offer to help. • Be responsible.

  4. Policies • Food and beverages NOT allowed. • Cell phones, mp3 players, and ipods are not allowed • Please be in your seat when the bell rings. • If you know – talk to me about being absent.

  5. Grading • Grades are based on the accumulation of points. • Points are based on: • Completion of assignments (daily work) • Major projects • Self-reflection • Grades are posted online and updated every Thursday. • Our Grading Scale • 90-100% = A • 80-89% = B • 70-79% = C • 60-69% = D • Below 60% = F • Grades are calculated on cumulative percentage and are rounded up whenever possible.

  6. Topics of Learning • Interests and Values Surveys • Career Cruising • Resume, Job Application, Cover Letters • Variety of Guest Speakers • College Research, Applications, Scholarship Research • Career Presentation • Mock Interview

My Pledge to Students • I will trust you until you give me reason to do otherwise. • I will respect you and work with you to solve problems. • I will promptly correct and offer feedback on your work. • Office hours 7:40 a.m.-7:57, periods 3 and 4, afterschool 3:01 p.m. - 3:30 and by appointment.
