PoC base case data for Q2 of 2013-14 • DICs and ISTS licensees have been requested to submit data for Q2 (Jul-Sep'13) • Technical details of new transmission elements and Generating units which are expected to be commercial from July 2013 to September 2013 (As per Format II) • Yearly transmission charges (As per Format-I) • Nodal Generation information and forecast Withdrawal Data (As per Format III). • Validation Committee meeting is proposed to be held before end of April'2013. • Other states are requested to send the data immediately

Status of RRF Mock Exercise • Only Karnataka has been submitting data of Schedules, Actual MW data till 03-03-13 • Reply to SRLDC letters dt. 17-01-13, 15-02-13, 06-03-13 and 03-04-13 awaited: • Data of Energy meters, list of pooling stations Status of SEM installation and the details of the SEMs • Actual Injection data (based on processed data of SEMs) • Forecast generation • Schedule data

SLDC to inform the status of installation of ABT complaint SEMs and comply with CERC order dt 16-01-13 • RE Capacity eligible for RRF mechanism (as per Report of Task force by MNRE): • TN: 975MW (15 stations) • Karnataka : 239MW ( 8 stations) • AP : ? • Kerala: ? • Pondy: Nil reply submitted by PED

(25) ‘user’ means the generating companies, distribution licensees, buyers, sellers and inter state transmission licensees, as the case may be, who use the inter–state transmission network or the associated facilities and services of NLDC and RLDC • (19) ‘regional entity’ means such persons whose scheduling, metering and energy accounting is done at the regional level;

(4) ‘buyer’ means a person buying power through medium term or long term access and whose scheduling, metering and energy accounting is coordinated by the RLDC • (22) ‘seller’ means a person supplying power through medium term or long term access and whose scheduling, metering and energy accounting is coordinated by RLDC

  18. 6.4.2. of IEGC (demarcation of responsibilities) The following generating stations shall come under the respective Regional ISTS control area and hence the respective RLDC shall coordinate the scheduling of the following generating stations : a) Central Generating Stations (excluding stations where full Share is allocated to host state), b) Ultra-Mega power projects (c) In other cases, the control area shall be decided on the following criteria: (i) If a generating station is connected only to the ISTS, RLDC shall coordinate the scheduling, except for Central Generating Stations where full Share is allocated to one State. (ii) If a generating station is connected only to the State transmission network, the SLDC shall coordinate scheduling, except for the case as at (a) above. (iii) If a generating station is connected both to ISTS and the State network, scheduling and other functions performed by the system operator of a control area will be done by SLDC,, only .if state has more than 50% Share of power ,The role of concerned RLDC, in such a case, shall be limited to consideration of the schedule for inter state exchange of power on account of this ISGS while determining the net drawal schedules of the respective states. If the State has a Share of 50% or less, the scheduling and other functions shall be performed by RLDC.
