  1. Commercial Operations Sub-Committee Update to TAC November 2, 2006

  2. Working Groups: • Commercial Communications continues to support TPTF by reviewing Commercial documentation. Friday conference calls have been extremely successful and educational. • UFE TF provided revised language in PRR695 for defining the annual UFE analysis performed by ERCOT. COPS approved the draft PRR which will be reviewed at the next PRS meeting. • DEWG continues to support the implementation of several SCRs. • COPS to recommend to PRS to delete TML Phase III project. A workshop was held to review outstanding items. Group decided SIRs could be utilized for some minor requests and if a MP wanted to sponsor additional functions, that option was available.

  3. Profile Working Group: • Annual Validation complete for Residential customers. Business ESIIDs currently in progress. • Profile Model Coefficient Re-estimation: • COPS approved urgency request for LPGRR016 • ERCOT staff determined data issues with baseline analysis and presented to PWG and COPS • ERCOT currently re-estimating profile model coefficients and producing new profile shapes • Re-work creates timing issues around completion / implementation • COPS will review refreshed info Nov 16, and provide to PRS the LPGRR and SCR (which do not change from the way they are now) for vote • TAC will vote in Dec. • TAC can reject the changes • TAC can approve suggested urgent timeline for implementation in May 2007 • TAC can approve with a normal timeline - new models would be implemented in Oct 2007 • TAC can approve with normal timeline, allow implementation during summer months

  4. Profile Model Draft Timeline:

  5. COPS Appreciation: • COPS would like to take this opportunity to THANK the ERCOT Load Profiling Staff and the Profile Working Group members. These folks have done a tremendous job of working through large amounts of data to produce new, improved, revised Profile Coefficients. • Thanks Carl and Team • Thanks Ernie, Brad and PWG
