  1. Do Now 9/14/18 • Take out your HW from last night. • Text p. 16 & 17, #4-24 evens • Copy HW in your planner. • Text p. 23-24, #4-24 evens, 30, 32, 33 • Quiz sections 1.1-1.3 Tuesday 9/18 • Complete “Exploration 1” on page 19 in your textbook. You may work with a partner next to you.

  7. 7 – 8x = 4x – 17 To get all the ‘x’ variables on one side “add 8x.” + 8x + 8x 7 = 12x – 17 To get the “12x” by itself “add 17” to both sides. +17 +17 24 = 12x To get the ‘x’ by itself “divide by 12” to both sides. 12 12 2 = x
