  4. REMINDER • You’ve probably noticed the recent rain. (Duh.) This means that even if it doesn’t rain on Friday, the fields will be a MESS. • Bring a towel: • for sitting and lounging when you are not in an event, OR • for drying off after you’ve become a muddy, icky mess.

  5. EVENT: 1 K cancelled

  6. REMINDER Keep track of time! It is your responsibility to show up for your event on time. There will be a schedule posted on a large poster, but it is your job to know where you need to be and when you should be there.

  7. EVENT: Balloon Butt-Bust • timed event • One partner places a water balloon on the chair • the other team member sits on the balloon until it pops • The team popping the most balloons in the allowed time wins!

  8. REMINDER Checkers burgers and hotdogs will be provided for you at no charge!  You will also be given a red ticket to exchange for a drink. Please save this ticket for use during lunch. If you lose it, you will have to purchase your drink.

  9. Teams of two compete against other teams to weave through cones on a course. • Fastest time wins! • NOTE: There was no sign-up sheet for this event, but if you would like to compete, go to the Scooter Scuttle area while the event is in progress. EVENT: Scooter Scuttle

  10. REMINDER Do not leave the field! You may use the restroom with Mrs. Johnson’s permission ONLY. (She’ll be in the concession stand.) If you have an event in the stadium, please pass through the ticket gate and go directly through the center path to the stadium.

  11. EVENT: Log Shoe • Teams of five race against another team. • “Walk” together in the pair of “log shoes” by holding on to the “shoe strings”. • If you didn’t sign up but would still like to, bring your team to the Log Shoe area when the event is in progress.

  12. REMINDER The Azalea Festival will be going on at the same time as our Team Day. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can you go to the Festival! The exception? Those going to perform – please check in with Mrs. Johnson at the concessions table BEFORE you go to meet Mrs. Dantzler.
