Introduction . The tropical rainforest are very important. Rainforest are located in Southern Asia, Southern America and Africa. It is also located near the are also equator. There are a lot of areas of heat and a lot of rain. There are tons of animals and plants
Forest floor The and Understory The forest floor and the understory are the two lowest category. It is very wet and dark on the forest floor It is also were the larger animals usually go. It is also full of life and has plants it is also the lowest of the layers. The understory is the second layer it is were the flying animals go. There is also a little more life than the forest floor.
The Canopy and the Emergent Layer The canopy and the emergent layer are the two highest or tallest layers. There tons of plants, animals and life.
Products/Supplies In the rainforest we get many things of the things are gum,chocolate,rubber,medicine,wood and pineapple. We also get coffee,cinoman, vanilla, oranges, lemons and bananas.
Okapis The okapi has a long neck like a giraffe. It helps them get the food in the trees. Thy also have striped legs. It makes them look like zebras. They also have split hooves like horses.
Okapis Basic Needs Okapis are definitely the hardest animals to find and study. Okapis live deep in Africa's Ituri rainforest. The okapi is also to the giraffe.
Okapis Diet e herbivores witch means they Okapis eat plants. They eat many different plants but they also eat grass. Fruits and ferns are also a couple of foods they eat. Some scientists even found out that all okapis eat 200 different types of plants.
Predators/Prey The okapi is not a endangered . Some of the okapis predators are the wars and the forest station.
Adaption's . Okapis could camouflage in trees. It’s because part of it’s body is dark brown. It can only camouflage in the dark part of the tree. It can also camouflage when it’s night
Interesting facts okapis are very shy and very hard to find in the wild. Okapis enjoy living alone. At a time some okapis eat in the same area to eat. Okapis are part giraffe.
