  2. Introduction Tropical rainforests gives a bunch of oxygen to the world. There are four layers in the rainforest. They are near the equator. Rainforests are located in Central and South America, Asia , Africa, Australia and the Pacific Islands. There are many animals and plants in the rainforest.

  3. The Forest Floor and The Understory The lowest layer of the rainforest are the forest floor and the understory. The forest floor has many big animals because they can’t climb. The forest floor is very wet because it rains on it a lot. It has plants on it too. They second layer is the understory. It has some of the birds.

  4. The Canopy and Emergent The canopy layer is filled with plant life. The canopy is full of animals. The emergent layer is the emergent layer is highest part in the rainforest.

  5. Products we get from the rainforest We get many products from the rainforest. We get pineapples from the rainforest. We get cocoa from the rain forest. We get wood from the rainforest too.

  6. Appearance Chameleons are green, sometimes grey or brown. They change color to blend in when predators are nearby, so they don’t get eaten.

  7. Habitat Chameleons live in the canopy and the understory so they can stay away from predators

  8. Diet The chameleons diet is moths dragon flies caterpillars insects crickets..

  9. Predators and prey The chameleons predators are snakes, birds and horn bills.

  10. Adaptations The chameleons camouflage helps them protect themselves so that their predators can’t find them,

  11. interesting facts The chameleon has a long tongue so that they can eat things that are flying around. The chameleons changes colors when a predator is nearby;
