  1. Untenured teachingin the Summer School • Teachers should return a signed payment form to Satu Lassila for verification. Satu Lassila sends the form first to the approver and then to the ERPAKE Service Centre that takes care of the payment. • Approved payment forms must be in ERPAKE around two weeks before the payment date. Payments are made twice a month. The detailed list of ERPAKE’s payment dates is available athttps://www.jyu.fi/yliopistopalvelut/erpake/tiedotteet/shedule-of-payments-2014 • Satu Lassila delivers the teachers’ contact information (email addresses) to ERPAKE • Email: Erpake@jyu.fi

  2. Staff of the University of Jyväskylä(both Finnish and foreign teachers) • Members of staff (Finnish and foreign teachers) will have a part-time non-tenured teaching contract. ERPAKE sends the contracts for signature via internal mail. • Working hours are charged with the payment form at https://www.jyu.fi/yliopistopalvelut/sidosryhmille/how-to/palkkiolaskuhttps://www.jyu.fi/yliopistopalvelut/en/intra/guide-for-staff/how-tos/payments • Check “Part-time teaching” at the top right corner, enter the signature date of the employment contract and fill in other needed information • Note! If the Summer School teaching is included in the work plan, the payment form procedure is not needed. Please inform Satu Lassila about the matter.

Finnish teachers not part of the University of Jyväskylä staff • Hours are charged as expert assignments with the payment form at https://www.jyu.fi/yliopistopalvelut/en/intra/guide-for-staff/how-tos/payments • Check “Expert or other one-time assignment” at the top right corner of the payment form • Please deliver your tax card at the latest when submitting the first payment form

Foreign teachers not part of the University of Jyväskylä staff • Hours are charged with the payment form athttps://www.jyu.fi/yliopistopalvelut/en/intra/guide-for-staff/how-tos/payments • Check “Expert or other one-time assignment” at the top right corner of the form • ERPAKE sends a tax-at-source card application to teachers for completion. Please return the application to ERPAKE. After that, ERPAKE submits the application to tax authorities. It takes about two weeks to get the tax-at-source card.
