  2. Summer School The 2014 summer school programs were free for all students this year and as a result 4957 students had an opportunity to benefit from the programs and 40,423 meals were served. • Elementary: 2448 • Middle Schools: 753 • High Schools: 1756 Project Management Office

Purpose of Coordinated Programs • Leadership Champions Superintendent Santorno and Deputy Superintendent Garcia allocated leadership resources to plan a sustainable program that can be budgeted and implemented every year moving forward. • Priorities • Credit Retrieval • Transition • Prep for Acceleration • Enrichment TPS School Board Presentation

Priority #1: Credit Retrieval TPS School Board Presentation • Edgenuity– new online program • Courses feature rigorous, standards-based instruction and powerful interactive tools that support student learning. • Engaging multimedia and real-world applications help ensure students build content knowledge and essential skills.

Priorities 3 & 4: Prep for Acceleration & Enrichment • Helping students to Catch Up and Keep Up towards the goal of reading on grade level by the end of 3rd grade. • Student activities included: • Literacy (Leveled Literacy Interventions) and/or ELL (Vocabulary and Math) • Art, Dance, Music, Nutrition/Health (YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Metro Parks) • Self Regulation skill building TPS School Board Presentation
